Steve SpringerSteve played 14 years of professional baseball, spending parts of two seasons in the Major Leagues with the Cleveland Indians in 1990 and the New York Mets in 1992. Spring played 11 years in AAA, collecting 1,592 hits in 1,591 minor league games. After his playing career, he became an area scout before becoming a cross-checker for the Arizona Diamondbacks for four years. He was also a player agent for seven years before returning to the Toronto Blue Jays, working as a professional scout and mental coach for eight years. Spring now is the founder of one of the most powerful mental tools in the world for baseball and softball players. His audio and video files have helped thousands of players and top colleges in the country along with MLB All-Stars AJ Pollock, Nolan Arenado, Paul Goldschmidt, Ben Zobrist and Daniel Murphy along with numerous other professional hitters. The most amazing aspect of his story was that he did not start in high school and got cut in college. Spring believes no player should ever play with tension, anxiety or pressure. Baseball isn’t a 3-hour time out and nobody is in trouble. He believes he could give you a mechanical hitting lesson once a week for a year but if you have no mental game then we just wasted the year. COMPETE with CONFIDENCE! ArchivesCategories |
