About the American Travel Baseball Alliance...

MISSION STATEMENT
The ATBA is committed to providing a player focused experience in amateur baseball. We strive to provide value to each member's players, the teams they play for, and the communities in which our member organizations and leagues operate.  Ultimately, the ATBA will provide members collaboration opportunities in all aspects of operations while maintaining the independence that our leagues and organizations were built upon.  

WHAT IS USABA?
The ATBA is an alliance of independent baseball teams, organizations, and leagues that look to grow and promote the game of baseball.  The ATBA will create synergy amongst members and create economies of scale for members to be able to consistently improve and develop their teams, organizations and leagues.   The ATBA looks to be the umbrella organization that brings the travel/independent baseball community together.

GOALS and OBJECTIVES

• Provide opportunities to create national and international relationships within the game
• Benefit members by establishing national purchasing contract options for equipment, uniforms, balls…
• Foster better communication/cooperation between member leagues and organizations
• Test and establish new value based alternatives to showcase baseball and recruiting with College Coaches
• Share our events across the network and look for opportunities to partner on specific events
• Create a voice, platform and representation for independent/travel baseball 
• Share operational policies and concepts between member leagues (start with online form questionnaire)
• To promote and market members on a national level
• To realize long term goals and become a self-sustaining association

• To make decisions and provide resources that protect player health and safety
• Create a national platform to share baseball educational resources (recruiting, player development, coaches development, parent info and more…)
• Build dynamic Alliance website platform to collaborate, share resources and more…
• Provide high level contacts and resources throughout network to create coaches training events 
• Foster additional ways to grow and promote the game of baseball though options like digital media, game coverage, social media and more…
• Maintain an independent structure and objectives for each member league and organization (nobody tells others what they have to do) 

The USABA was originally created by the Northern Virginia Travel Baseball League (NVTBL) to bring us all together and share!  ​​
